Sri Lanka, July 3 -- Marking a significant milestone in Sri Lanka's automotive sector, Browns has become the first entity in the country to receive the Overseas Manufacturing Authorisation from the Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI) for the importation of motorcycle batteries.

The official authorisation certificate was formally handed over by the Director General of SLSI, Dr. Siddhika G. Senaratne to Ajith De Silva, Chief Operating Officer Automotive and Hardware Cluster, Browns Group, on May 20, at a ceremony held at the SLSI premises.
