Sri Lanka, July 29 -- Joint Opposition Coalition Convener, former Minister Prof.G.L.Peiris said yesterday that the Bar Association of Sri Lanka (BASL) will convene all its 26,000 members today for a special discussion regarding the judicial retirement age.

This Association officially represents the country's legal community. But, the proposal has been approved without receiving and reviewing prior observations and representations from BASL and other legal stakeholder's.
