Sri Lanka, Sept. 11 -- A team of SLPP supporters attached to Balapitiya Civil Organisations collective and Balapitiya SLPP Chief Organiser Channa Saliya Mendis visited Kande Purana Viharaya, Aluthgama on Wednesday (9) to invoke divine blessings for SLPP's National Organiser Namal Rajapaksa, who has been imprisoned at the Welikada prison. The team worshipped the God Vishnu and other powerful deities and made a request to bless imprisoned Namal Rajapaksa. They prayed for his immediate relief and to be safeguarded from any harm and injustice while in prison.
