SriLanka, Oct. 31 -- All-Ceylon Bakery Owners Association President N.K.Jayawardena said its Executive Council has decided to increase all short eats and bread from today.

Speaking to the press in Raddolugama yesterday (30) morning he said they had decided to increase the price of a 450-gram loaf of bread and all other snacks and short eats by Rs. 5 from Friday (30) midnight.

Companies engaged in the sale of bread flour in the country had taken steps to increase the price of flour by Rs.13 a kilo from October 20.
