Sri Lanka, March 25 -- A two-acre plot of land in Vasavilan East (J/244), Tellippalai, in the Jaffna District, previously utilised by the Army, was formally released to civilian administration on Monday (23).

The official document confirming the release was handed over by Colonel P.M.C. Wanninayake of the 511 Brigade, Achchuveli-Ottakappulam, to Jaffna District Secretary Maruthalingam Piiratheepan at the District Secretariat.
