Appropriation Bill for the 2027 Financial Year presented to parliament for first reading

Sri Lanka, Oct. 9 -- The Appropriation Bill for the 2027 financial year was presented to Parliament for its first reading Wednesday (07) by Dr. Anil Jayantha, Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning.

This Appropriation Bill provides the necessary financial allocations amounting to Rs. 4,992,773,388,000.00, to cover government service expenditure for the year 2027 and authorizes the government to raise the required loans.
