Sri Lanka, Sept. 18 -- The Old Girls' Association (OGA) of Ananda Balika Vidyalaya, Maradana, Colombo, organised a blood donation camp on September 17, to mark the 162nd birth anniversary of Srimath Anagarika Dharmapala. The event was held at Ananda Balika Vidyalaya under the patronage of the school's Principal, Mrs. W.B.G. Kumuduni.Compare Local Schools

The programme included religious observances conducted by members of the Maha Sangha, who also delivered sermons highlighting the life, contributions and dedicated service of Srimath Anagarika Dharmapala to the Buddha Sasana and the community.

A large number of donors participated demonstrating their commitment to serving the community and supporting this worthy cause.
