Sri Lanka, July 28 -- With the objective of promoting industries at the regional level, the Ministry of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development is implementing the Regional Industrial Zone Development Program.

Under this program, the development of basic infrastructure on lands identified for establishing industrial zones is carried out, followed by the allocation of land plots from those industrial zones to suitable investors.
