Sri Lanka, June 8 -- The Police yesterday denied reports regarding it allegedly assault or inhumanly treated the suspect, former Intelligence Chief Suresh Sallay, who was arrested on suspicion over the Easter Sunday terror attacks and is currently being held under detention orders by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID). The Police Media Division in a statement notes that the statement made to the media day before yesterday (6) by former MP Udaya Gammanpila regarding this matter is completely untrue.
