Sri Lanka, Sept. 2 -- A blood donation campaign was held recently, at the Akkaraipattu Technical College to meet the blood requirements of the Blood Bank of the Akkaraipattu Base Hospital.

The programme was jointly organised by the Akkaraipattu Base Hospital and the Technical College under the leadership of College Principal N. Naheem.

The event was conducted under the guidance of Dr. E. Ukesan, Medical Officer in charge of the Blood Bank of the Akkaraipattu Base Hospital,

along with the Senior Nursing Officer and paramedical service officers of the Technical College.

Around 40 officers and students of the Akkaraipattu Technical College participated in the blood donation campaign.
