SriLanka, Sept. 30 -- Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga Bodaragama yesterday (29) ordered Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa to be further remanded until October 13. In the same order, he directed the Bribery Commission to submit a report to the court under Section 123 of the Code of Criminal Procedure if the investigations conducted by CIABOC and the CID into the Airbus aircraft purchasing transactions have been concluded.

Deputy Solicitor General Janaka Bandara informed court that the Bribery Commission's investigation under the Bribery Act and the CID's investigation under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act regarding the case filed against MP Namal Rajapaksa for allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs. 100 million have been completed. ...
