Sri Lanka, May 18 -- The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) stated that 5,242 individuals from 1,574 families across 65 Divisional Secretariat divisions in 14 districts have been affected by the adverse weather from May 10 to 17 morning.

A report from the DMC noted two deaths and one injury. It further detailed that one house has been completely damaged, while 192 houses have suffered partial damage. Additionally, 118 individuals from 34 families are staying with relatives, and 162 individuals from 52 families are accommodated in five safety centres.
