ADB to loan Rs. 6.7 Bn to SL for health services development in 2027
Sri Lanka, Sept. 14 -- The Health Ministry said that Rs. 6.7 billion will be received from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the year 2027 to uplift the health sector covering all nine provinces across the country.
Approximately Rs.750 million per province will be allocated for health development activities, and the relevant plans for the year 2027 must be prepared and submitted to the Finance Commission by mid-November.
Under this financial assistance programme, the annual development plan review activities for the nine provinces, featuring one plan per province for 2027, was held recently.
