Sri Lanka, Aug. 19 -- The Teaching Hospital Anuradhapura has received a new state-of-the-art mammography machine to improve the early detection of breast cancer and other breast-related conditions and reduce waiting times for patients.

The new machine will increase the hospital's capacity to carry out mammograms, allowing more women to undergo screening and receive diagnostic reports without long delays. It will also help doctors identify abnormalities more accurately and refer patients for treatment at an earlier stage when necessary.
