Sri Lanka, May 14 -- The Police Spokesman confirmed today that a 72-hour detention order has been obtained for Ousmand Gunasekara, alias 'Gampaha Ousmand,' who was arrested in connection with the assassination of underworld kingpin 'Ganemulla Sanjeewa.' The suspect was apprehended by the Colombo Crime Division (CCD) last night (13) in the Sri Bodhi Road area of Gampaha.South Asians & Diaspora

According to the CCD, the arrest was made following breakthroughs in the interrogation of other suspects currently held in detention.
