Sri Lanka, April 2 -- The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has announced a series of 24-hour water cuts affecting several areas due to ongoing water shortages.
According to the board:
Residents of Padukka will experience a water cut starting at 8:00 p.m. today (02 April).
Residents of Homagama will face a 24-hour suspension of water supply starting at 8:00 p.m. on 03 April.
Residents of Pelanwatta will experience a similar 24-hour water cut starting at 8:00 p.m. on 04 April.
The Water Board has urged affected residents to make necessary arrangements and conserve water during the period of suspension.
