'TRINEX 26' to enhance Navy, Air Force maritime surveillance, operations readiness
Sri Lanka, July 22 -- The Sri Lanka Navy's Trincomalee Naval Exercise 2026 (TRINEX 26) began at the Trincomalee Naval Dockyard on Monday (20) with the participation of Eastern Naval Area Commander, Rear Admiral Kosala Warnakulasooriya.
The exercise will run until Saturday (25) in and around Trincomalee Harbour and surrounding seas. It involves the Naval Fleet, the 4th Fast Attack Flotilla, the Special Boat Squadron, the Navy Marine and the Sri Lanka Air Force.
