Sri Lanka, July 14 -- The Marine Environment Protection Authority (MEPA) has introduced the 'Ocean Watch' web-based mobile application, practically implementing the State Digitalisation Policy of the National People's Power Government.

Designed for more systematic waste management within Sri Lanka's coastal zone, including its fishing harbours, this app serves as a unique digital approach aimed at transforming the nation's marine and coastal ecosystem into a healthy, waste-free zone.
