SriLanka, Sept. 25 -- The 22nd Amendment to the Constitution was not drafted with a specific individual in mind; rather, these amendments were introduced to provide relief to people affected by delays in the delivery of justice. They are a necessity of the times. This amendment was not brought forward with a political agenda, Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya stated in Parliament.
