Sri Lanka, April 20 -- A special kite-flying event promoting a global message of peace will be held at Galle Face Green today (20) at 4.00 pm.

Organised under the theme "Fly for Peace," the initiative invites families and professionals to gather with their children and participate in a symbolic kite-flying session.

Participants are encouraged to bring kites and join families from diverse cultures and communities in sharing a collective message: "Air is not for war - Air is to breathe."

The event is organised by the World Peace Movement, with support from several partner organisations including RAKA and Air Cradle.
