Sri Lanka, Nov. 3 -- The annual 'Bauddhaloka' Literary Festival was held at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo. Celebrating the theme "The Splendor of Palm-Leaf Literature," the festival which was organised by the Bauddhaloka Foundation brought rare national-level recognition to Sri Lanka's academic researchers, literary figures, and media artists contributing to Buddhist scholarship and culture.Sri Lanka travel

A central highlight of this year's festival was the presentation of three unique, one-time-only awards to Professors K.N.O. Dharmadasa, S.B. Hettiarachchi, and Albert Dharmasiri.
