Nairobi, April 11 -- President William Ruto has moved to reconstitute key constitutional and independent offices by appointing selection panels to oversee recruitment into the high-profile vacancies.

According to a notice published in the latest issue of the Kenya Gazette dated April 10, the Head of State constituted panels to facilitate the recruitment of a new chairperson of the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA), seven members of the Intergovernmental Relations Technical Committee (IGRTC), two commissioners of the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), and one member of the Public Service Commission (PSC).
