Nairobi, April 14 -- Nine nightclub workers arrested over the brutal killing of an egg seller who entered a city establishment to relieve himself on April 10, 2026 will spend five more days in police custody to assist investigators in unraveling the incident.

In ordering their continued detention at Central Police Station on April 13, 2026, a Milimani Law Courts magistrate said police need more time to apprehend the main suspect and complete investigations.

The court noted that the main assailant, identified as a bouncer at Somer Club along Latema Road, was still at large.
