Nairobi, April 24 -- Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja has announced a reshuffle of chief officers within the county government, just weeks after reaching a political agreement with President William Ruto.

The changes that take effect immediately are expected to affect key departments and signal a shift in the administration's priorities amid ongoing efforts to streamline service delivery in the capital.

In a notice dated Friday, April 24, the county boss said the reshuffle had been made in line with the law.

"In accordance with Section 45(5) of the County Government Act 2012, the following County Chief Officers have been reassigned as stated below," the notice read in part.
