Men, money and the ballot: Survey reveals men more likely to accept bribes
Nairobi, April 14 -- Daniel Mose, now in his 60s, has observed politicians bribing voters openly during campaigns and even on election day. As a logistics manager in a local company, he says money is not a pressing need for him, unlike for unemployed youth, whom studies show are more easily swayed by handouts from politicians.
Still, he admits that when it comes to cash, resistance is rare. "Who doesn't want money? If politicians are throwing it around, why shouldn't I take it? Everyone wants money," he says.
