Nairobi, April 25 -- The Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party's Linda Mwananchi faction took its charm offensive to Vihiga County, where it vowed to field a presidential candidate in 2027.

Siaya Governor James Orengo, ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, Vihiga Senator Godfrey Osotsi, Embakasi East MP Babu Owino, Kisii Senator Richard Onyonka, and MP Caleb Amisi, among others, also rallied the Luo and Luhya communities to forge a united front in removing President William Ruto from power come 2027.

During the three rallies, an attack on Senator Osotsi in Kisumu a few weeks ago and calls for Luo-Luhya unity dominated the speeches.
