Nairobi, April 10 -- Kenya is among countries that have adopted a declaration aimed at harmonising action on ultra-processed foods, French President Emmanuel Macron announced on Tuesday at the One Health Summit in Lyon.

Ultra-processed foods include processed meat, soft drinks, snacks, instant noodles and most fast foods. The declaration is expected to move to implementation, with the goal of improving health outcomes for Kenyans and citizens of other signatory countries.
