Nairobi, April 29 -- The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has nominated Court of Appeal judge Mohamed Warsame for appointment as a judge of the Supreme Court of Kenya, following the conclusion of public interviews held in Nairobi.
The commission on Wednesday night said the nomination followed a competitive vetting process that assessed candidates on integrity, professional competence and constitutional vision.
The nomination now sets in motion the final stages of the appointment process, where President William Ruto is expected to formally appoint Justice Warsame, subject to approval by the National Assembly.
