Nairobi, April 30 -- The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has registered over 2.6 million voters following a combined push through continuous and enhanced voter registration drives, marking a major milestone in Kenya's preparations for the 2027 General Election.

According to the commission's final status report issued on Thursday, a total of 2,612,725 newly registered voters was achieved through two parallel processes.
