Vipers stutter as Express ends Kitara title interest
Uganda, May 13 -- Vipers continued their inconsistent run in the Startimes Uganda Premier League final bend after being held to a goalless draw by Police at the Kira Road Police Arena in Kamwokya on Wednesday evening.
The result was a third consecutive draw for the Venoms who have now picked up just 11 points from a possible 21 over a seven-game period.
Despite that indecisiveness, the Ivan Minnaert-coached side are still expected to clinch the title with their rivals faring worse in the race to the finish line.
Kitara became the latest example of a faltering chasing park losing their second consecutive game following a 3-2 defeat at Express in Tuesday's late game at Ham's Stadium in Nakivubo.
