Uganda, April 26 -- KCCA failed to make up ground on leaders Vipers after going down to a 1-0 defeat to the league's bottom side Calvary at the Midigo playground in Yumbe on Saturday evening.

With four games left, the result left  KCCA on 51 points dropping down to fourth on basis of the head to head rule, four behind the Venoms who host UPPC on Sunday.

It also brought Kitara back into the title picture with a late 2-1 win away to Lugazi to stay third and level with Villa and KCCA. 

The dramatic evening in Lugazi saw Muhammad Shaban score a 90th minute winner for his first goal since his mid-season transfer.
