Uganda, April 11 -- Three people were reportedly murdered and two others were left injured in an attack in Adjumani District on Friday, April 10, 2026.

The incident happened at approximately 2:30pm where a group of unidentified individuals, believed to be members of the Acholi community, attacked members of the Madi community at Ofu East, Rubangabini Village, Okusijoni sub-county, Adjumani District.

According to SP Collins Asea, the North West Nile Police Spokesperson, the assailants were reportedly armed with bows, arrows, and pangas and during the attack, three individuals were killed-comprising one male and two females-and two others sustained injuries.
