Uganda, April 30 -- Uganda People's Defence Forces (UPDF), police marine units and local divers have recovered at least three bodies from River Nguse in Kagadi District, where a canoe carrying over 30 passengers capsized two days ago.
The recovery operation, which resumed on Thursday after an initial unsuccessful attempt, is still ongoing. Authorities say efforts will continue on Friday in search of several victims who are reported missing following the April 28 evening boat accident.
