At 12, April 17 -- 15pm, presiding High Court Judge Alice Komuhangi Khaukha walks into the makeshift courtroom after a delay by the late arrival of the key suspect in the murder of four toddlers at a daycare centre, Christopher Okello Onyum, coupled with a mid-morning downpour. The court started with a prayer and then straightaway to the day's business as follows:
