Uganda, April 23 -- One in three candidates who sat the 2025/2026 Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Grade 10 examinations scored above 90 percent, according to Grade X results released this week.
Out of 58 candidates, 20 attained scores above the 90 percent mark, representing about 34.5 percent of the cohort. The overall average score was 82.7 percent, with results indicating a concentration of high achievers and generally consistent performance.
The top candidate scored 98 percent, followed by 97.2 percent, while two others shared third position with 97 percent. A significant number of candidates also scored in the 90-96 percent range, alongside a broader cluster in the high-80s.
