Uganda, April 30 -- A Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) staff member knocked dead a cleaner at the URA Service Centre premises in Tororo Municipality in a tragic accident that occurred on April 29, 2026.

The Territorial Police in Tororo District said that they have started investigating the fatal accident that involved black Subaru Forester, which was being driven by Inapat Janervive, a 50-year-old male adult, a URA staff member in Tororo and a resident of URA Quarters in Tororo Municipality, Tororo District.

The Bukedi South regional police spokesperson, Moses Mugwe, identified the deceased as Nambozo Sarah, 32, a cleaner at URA Service Centre Tororo, and a resident of Tororo Municipality.
