Uganda, April 18 -- National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) has unveiled its Shs8.2 trillion strategic plan 2025-2030 to expand access to safe clean water across the country.

According to the Managing Director Eng. Silver Mugisha, the strategic plan focuses on infrastructure expansion, environmental protection, digital transformation, improved customer experience, and financial sustainability.

Furthermore, the plan targets increasing the population they serve from 20 million to 26 million people by having 60,000 new connections installed annually, reaching at least 1.3 million customers from the current 1 million, and expanding their network by about 500 kilometers annually.
