Uganda, April 21 -- Police have said they have no plans to arrest National Unity Platform (NUP) president Robert Kyagulanyi upon his return from the United States where he fled to following the January 15 polls. Police spokesperson, Assistant Commissioner of Police Kituuma Rusoke told journalists in Kampala that security forces will not issue guidelines for his movement when the former presidential candidate returns to the country. "There are now guidelines, we don't give guidelines in respect to back-and-forth movement of individuals," CP Rusoke said.
