Uganda, April 24 -- Nation Media Group Uganda and Uganda National Bureau of Standards are exploring a partnership aimed at promoting quality standards and strengthening public awareness across the country.

Speaking during a meeting at UNBS offices in Kampala on April 23, Executive Director James Kasigwa underscored the role of standards in safeguarding consumers and supporting Uganda's economic ambitions.

"To really move and contribute to that tenfold, I feel we need to change a lot. But one area that I feel is lacking in this country is the quality culture.
