Uganda, April 21 -- Police in the Wamala Region are investigating the circumstances under which a young couple was found dead inside their locked house in Mubende District, in an incident that has left residents grappling with more questions than answers.

The deceased have been identified as Ronald Tumusiime, 28, a peasant, and his wife, Justine Kamukama, 25, both residents of Lwensama Cell in Nabingola Town Council.

Their bodies were discovered on April 20 at about 5pm after neighbours reportedly heard their two-year-old child crying persistently from inside the house, with no response from the parents.
