Uganda, April 7 -- Christopher Okello Onyum, the suspect in the killing of four toddlers at Ggaba Early Childhood Development Programme centre in Kampala, has been arraigned in court on murder charges following his arrest on April 2, 2026.

Onyum, 38, arrived at exactly 4:07pm, heavily guarded by armed officers who kept a tight perimeter around him as curious onlookers and court users strained to catch a glimpse of the man at the centre of a case that has shocked the nation.

He was presented before Grade One Magistrate Aidah Nanjala, who read out multiple charges against him

Onyum was charged with the murder of Gideon Eteku, 2; Keisha Agenrwot, 2; Ignatius Sseruyange, 3; and Ryan Odeke, 2.
