Uganda, May 13 -- President Museveni's inauguration yesterday, an event steeped in tradition, had various moments, some good, none great, some terrible.

Besides the elaborate military parade, visuals were played to demonstrate the measurable strides that Mr Museveni has made across a four-decade stretch insofar as poverty alleviation is concerned.
