Uganda, April 19 -- Minister for Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs Minsa Kabanda has called on contractors to accelerate ongoing road construction works across the Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area, warning that delays must not compromise quality.

Kabanda made the appeal during an inspection of infrastructure projects in and around the capital, saying the works are central to improving mobility and supporting economic activity.

"Roads improve mobility, connect communities, and unlock opportunity. I urge all contractors to maintain quality standards and deliver within the agreed timelines," she said.
