Uganda, April 21 -- Justice Forum (JEEMA) officials have joined the growing list of Ugandans eulogising Kalangala Woman MP, Helen Nakimuli who died on April 19, 2026 after a surgical operation at a medical centre in Kampala.Her death has since sparked renewed debate on the state of Uganda's healthcare system, particularly the reliance on treatment abroad by public officials.

Addressing journalists at the party headquarters in Mengo on Tuesday, JEEMA spokesperson Dr Swaib Kaggwa Nsereko eulogised Nakimuli as "a courageous voice for moral integrity in public life," noting that her commitment to justice and service set her apart at a time when ethical leadership remains a challenge in the country.
