Uganda, April 28 -- At exactly 6am, Sam wakes up from his sleep, his eyes meeting the morning glare.
The 34-year-old Primary Five dropout is a survivor of the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA), and the memories of the rebels' brutal activities still linger.
He wanders to Ojwii Trading Centre, Abela Parish, Aleka Sub-county in Oyam District, seeking solace in the company of others.
As he settles in, young people from the area holding hand hoes on their shoulders pass by as they head to their gardens.
