Uganda, April 14 -- Police in Wakiso District have arrested four suspects linked to a series of break-ins targeting churches and mosques, with stolen electronic equipment and other items recovered.
The suspects were picked up following a weekend burglary at a Seventh-day Adventist church in Kavumba Village, where music equipment was stolen.
Police spokesperson Kituuma Rusoke said a tip-off from a resident led officers to a nearby home where the stolen items had been hidden.
"The stolen items were recovered in the home of one of the suspects. During the search of the suspect's home, the officers also recovered other items that had earlier been stolen from the mosque," Rusoke said.
