Uganda, May 14 -- The murder trial of businesswoman Molly Katanga turned tense after a defence witness struggled to answer several questions during a heated cross-examination by the State before Justice Comfort Kania at the High Court in Kampala.

Dr Sylvester Onzivua, a retired forensic pathologist and former head of the City Mortuary, appeared as a defence witness to challenge aspects of the postmortem report relating to the death of businessman Henry Katanga.

During examination-in-chief, the 62-year-old witness presented himself as an experienced forensic expert with more than 20 years in pathology and homicide investigations.
