Uganda, April 20 -- The family of the former Ugandan ambassador to the Democratic Republic of Congo, the late Jacob Okello-Agwaa, has beseeched the government to pay the benefits of the fallen diplomat, arguing that it has been long overdue. Ambassador Okello-Agwaa, who hailed from Odek Sub-County in Omoro District, died on September 2, 2013. During his funeral, the late Former Speaker Jacob Oulanyah then stated that the government had committed to ensuring that Okello-Agwaa's gratuity and other benefits are paid in full. The family, however, said they have waited for nearly 13 years for the government to fulfil their promises. Mr Fredrick Olobo-Agwaa, one of the eldest sons to the former diplomat, said they have writt...
