Uganda, April 23 -- Enterprise Uganda, in partnership with the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (Unido), has launched an export readiness training programme for Ugandan entrepreneurs seeking to enter the European market.

The initiative has brought together about 100 selected business operators and is aimed at equipping them with the practical skills and knowledge needed to meet international market standards, especially in Europe.

Enterprise Uganda director general Charles Ocici said the participants were selected on the basis of existing business operations and their potential to scale into export markets.
