Uganda, April 13 -- Kasana-Luweero Bishop Lawrence Mukasa has raised concern over the high cost and limited access to renewable energy technologies, warning that vulnerable groups risk being left behind despite their potential to transform livelihoods.
Speaking during a climate dialogue organised by Caritas Kasana Luweero Diocese in Luweero District on April 11, the bishop said renewable energy remains a key tool in climate change mitigation but is still out of reach for many farmers, especially women.
